Missouri: Raise The Age!

Take Action! Missouri is one of the seven remaining states that has not “Raised the Age” of juvenile court jurisdiction to 18. Currently, all 17-year olds in the Show Me State are tried as adults, regardless of the offense.

New legislation filed in Missouri, SB 40, aims to “Raise the Age” to 18 and to prevent children 15 and younger from being tried as adults at all.
