Meet Our 2017 Summer Interns

The summer has officially begun, and the Campaign for Youth Justice couldn’t be more excited to introduce its interns!

Eunice

Eunice Revis will be serving as the Campaign’s Public Interest Communications Intern and assisting with CFYJ’s State Campaign efforts. Eunice grew up in Houston, but now attends Spelman College where she is studying Political Science with a pre-law concentration. Eunice is passionate about the school-to-prison pipeline, and has high hopes of practicing law in an underserved community. Eunice has also completed 501c3 training to expand her advocacy efforts. For fun she enjoys listening to music, eating, and spending time with her loved ones.

Tim

This summer, Timothy Klipp-Lockhart will be conducting Juvenile Justice Policy Research for the Campaign for Youth Justice.  Tim is originally from Nebraska, but is now attending Howard University in the School of Social Work as a MSW Candidate. It was Tim’s experience as an AmeriCorps volunteer that fueled his passion for human service.  Through the agency, Tim was able to see the negative effects of the juvenile justice system on children, their families, and their overall community. Tim is very excited and grateful to work for the Campaign for Youth Justice for the summer. Tim loves to run along the Potomac, take his dog Wilson for walks, and play basketball.

Abby

Abby McNeal has been with the Campaign for Youth Justice since January. Abby is extremely passionate about Social Policy and Criminal Justice Policy. At CFYJ, Abby focuses on Federal Juvenile Justice Policy, and has been working diligently to get the JJDPA reauthorized this session. Abby received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from North Carolina State, and is a current MPA candidate at American University.
